A latest release from Best of Britain books, whilst it has featured as a subject matter before, this one sets out to showcase the interiors and exteriors of some fabulous pubs. It then leaves you to make your own mind up as to where to visit and a marvellous reference work for those of us that value a traditional pub with all its trimmings. Remarkable that I don't feature in any of the photos and, as ever with this series, superb photos.

Harry's books are genuinely brilliant! I think bar one or two we now have pretty much every publication and they're all excellent. Well written and informative coupled with beautiful images throughout all the series. Size wise they're perfect to fit in a bag or rucksack etc, highly recommend! Another great addition to the guide range. We have a daughter living in London and enjoy exploring the many great pubs when we visit. With so many pubs to choose from, it’s great to find a concise guide highlighting some of the best. As a fan of real ales this helps to filter out the finest by postcode before we set off. London welcomes adventurous people who like to explore — what better way to plan around a refreshing pint in the top 100… this must be one of Harry’s favourite books to research… I could have helped if I had known…

I first came across one of these books while on holiday in Suffolk. The owners of the cottage we stayed in had a copy on their bookshelf and I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful photography. The suggestions, tips, recommendations etc are excellent too. I was also pleased to see that these books are printed in the UK. When I got home I ordered all the books in the range and look forward to using them for future holidays.

This is undoubtedly the most beautiful and most interesting 'travel guide' I've ever read - though it's much more than that - being an insight into the whole feel of an area and is peppered with superb photography. I live in Norfolk but have found out so much I didn't know about my own area, along with an itinerary for about a year of travel, lunches and pub visits!
