Cley Windmill
About
Boasting an intriguing history dating back to the early 19th century, Cley Windmill is a five-storey tower mill that has been sympathetically converted into a unique guesthouse. Its stunning coastal location with views that stretch as far as the eye can see makes this a perfect base for romance and outdoor lovers. A circular lounge area tucked into the base of the mill with a cosy wood burning stove is a peaceful setting for relaxing with your favourite tipple and a good book.
Food and Drink
Inside the old warehouse building a stylish dining room featuring exposed beams creates a beautiful space for enjoying a sumptuous breakfast each morning, and locally smoked kippers and haddock can be pre-ordered the night before. Hampers or charcuterie boards can also be provided for guests staying at Cley Windmill and during the summer months you can relax in the garden cafe.
Rooms
Tucked inside various part of the windmill and surrounding buildings, you’ll find nine beautifully designed bedrooms. Each of the rooms has its own individual features but if you want to enjoy a room with a view, head to either Wheat Chamber, Wheel Room or Stone Room. For that extra luxurious touch, Barley Bin has a freestanding bath and can be found to the rear of the mill.
Out and About
Overlooking the famous Blakeney Harbour and the saltmarshes, Cley Windmill is in a wonderful location with plenty of places to explore right from the doorstep. Stroll along Cley beach, mooch around the nearby shops, visit the Blakeney National Nature Reserve or explore the picturesque Holt Country Park.
